and with the announcement of the new companion, all my fears about Moffat's era have quickly comeback.


I'm not sure why,exactly, but I am just filled with dread.
I like Matt. and she looks ok, too. I've only seen her in that one ep of DW, so I can't judge (btw, how are they gonna work around that? is she gonna be a descendant like Gwen?)

It just... it seems like it'll be an entirely different show.
like Moffat will just forget about the last 4 years, about all the things I've learned to love in Doctor Who and start over. much like a reboot.

and of course, there's the simple trouble of me not trusting Moffat.
I like Rusty. he breaks my heart but it's worth it. and in a way, I like that. I love the way this show manipulates me. it's why it's my favourite.

with Moffat at the helm,I fear it won't be anymore. It may still be a good show. I may watch. but it won't be *my* show and after being my favourite,my main fandom for so damn long, that's scary.
